Excelsys Launches 750W Configurable Power Supply

New 750 watt, 1U User Configurable Power Supplies from Excelsys

Excelsys Technologies, the world leading specialists in high efficiency power supplies, introduces the latest addition to its renowned user-configurable range. The XLD power supply offers 750 watts continuous output power with 800 watt peak capacity. Supplied in a slim-line and ultra-compact 1U x 268 x 89mm package with up to 8 isolated outputs, this products offer new levels of flexibility and affordability to the 750 watt power market.

The XLD 750 powerPac model may be populated with up to 4 powerMods selected with outputs in the range 1.0V to 58.0VVDC. All possible user configurations carry full safety agency approvals UL60950, EN60950 and are CE marked.

The XLD 750 can provide up to 8 fully isolated outputs which may be connected in series or parallel to provide non standard voltages, higher output currents or N+1 redundant power systems. Reliability is enhanced by employing leading-edge design techniques employing planar magnetics and surface mount electronics resulting in low numbers of long life electrolytic capacitors in the final design.

The XLD 750 has an internal cooling fan and provides a 5VDC bias voltage for system administration and front panel LEDs provide a visual indication of system status. The XLD 750 operate off a universal 85-264VAC input range, over voltage protection and will operate at full load from -20 to +70°C

Dermot Flynn, Sales Director of Excelsys Technologies, comments. “Our new two new 750 watt power supplies offer market leading power densities in a very small package size, with the added bonus of being totally user configurable. We have a proven online “configure and order” wizard making it very simple for our customers to specify and order project specific power solutions from our website.”

Typical applications for the XLD 750 include industrial and automation systems, telecoms, instrumentation, n+1 and redundant power systems, test and measurement equipment, printing and IT power.

Excelsys customers can get full information on these products and configure their own custom power solution by visiting www.excelsys.com and completing the simple EXCELerate design wizard. The final design is given a unique part number which may then be ordered from Excelsys global distribution network.
