Excelsys Technologies exhibiting at Del Mar Electronics and Design Show 2016 in California
Excelsys Technologies is delighted to announce that we will be exhibiting at Del Mar Electronics and Design Show 2016 in California. Excelsys will have its latest power supply offerings on display in Exhibit Hall Booth 234. The annual Del Mar Electronics Show (DMES), to be held on May 4-5, 2016, provides the local electronic design community with close-in access to information about the latest electronic products and technologies. We will be showcasing our exciting range of products that boast industry leading efficiencies, reliability and flexibility.
In addition, DMES has now become an important venue for informative seminars conducted over the two days. This year, our VP of Applications Engineering, North America, Kevin Parmenter, will be presenting two very informative (and entertaining) seminar presentations— Firstly, ‘How Power Supplies Fail in the Real World’ on Wednesday, May 4, 1:00 p.m. in Mission Towers – Room C, which deals with real-world analysis of the causes of power supply failures. The second presentation entitled ‘Applications Considerations of Power Electronics – Altitude and Input Electrical Overstress’ which addresses design considerations for electrical overstress and high-altitude applications. This takes place on Wednesday, May 4, 10:00 a.m. Sky boxes – Native Diver Room.
We will be exhibiting our UltiMod platform which continues the Excelsys tradition of providing an instant, no compromise power solution for any application where a unique set of voltage and current requirements is needed. The platform is the most flexible field configurable modular power supply in the world delivering 200W to 1340W and is used throughout various industries including Medical, Industrial, Communications and Military electronics.
The XSolo family of 1U high, ultra-compact single output power supplies will also be on display at Del Mar 2016. Available in 2 package types, the high efficiency XSolo delivers a market leading convection cooled 504W in an open-frame U-channel form-factor and up to 1008W in an enclosed fan cooled chassis. Both models carry a 5 year warranty.
Additional products on show will include our family of extended trim range and reactive load powerMods to complement the existing UltiMod and Xgen platforms. These extended range modules; XgM XgN XgP XgQ are available with nominal output voltages of 5V, 12V, 24V and 48V respectively and each can be dynamically trimmed down to 1V. This feature offers unparalleled flexibility to system designers who need dynamic control of output voltages over extreme voltage ranges. The Reactive Load powerMods, XgR and XgT can deliver output voltages from 8.0V to 58V. Backed by a five-year warranty, the XgR and XgT powerMods offers increased system robustness and reliability by providing complete protection where loads can generate high levels of reverse energy, such as in industrial and medical applications.
