Excelsys Technologies welcomes new Field Applications Engineer in North America

 

Excelsys Technologies is delighted to announce the addition of Chris Siegl as Field Applications Engineer as part of our North American team. Chris Siegl comes from Fairchild Semiconductor where he held positions of Americas Regional Marketing Manager for Power Devices as well as Power Applications Engineering in evolving markets.Chris Seigl

His understanding of the critical issues facing our customers and markets makes him the ideal choice to join our applications engineering team in North America”.

With over 35 years of experience in the electronics and semiconductor industry, Chris has held roles with University of Pennsylvania Medical School (Medical Research hyperbaric chambers), Leeds and Northrup, National Semiconductor, and Fairchild Semiconductor Power Products Sector. Chris has also had extensive experience as a design engineer in the medical electronics and industrial electronics field.

Chris has also been active at PSMA (Power Sources Manufacturers Association, as Technology Roadmap Contributor, as well as being Session Chair and presenter at a number of IEEE APEC Conferences and Darnell Energy Summits. Chris is a Senior Member of the IEEE and has served as the past IEEE Section Chair Eastern NC Section and has held numerous Society Chair positions and continues as ENCS EXCOM member. Over the years Chris has published many articles, written applications notes and white papers and has chaired sessions at IEEE and participated in panel discussions and other industry conferences as a subject matter expert.
